Church Vision
The vision of Macon Missionary Baptist Church is to be true to our call as a group of regenerated members embracing the I.O.U. of the Word made flesh full of grace and truth. Therefore, we will provide In-reach, Out-reach and Up-reach.
INREACH
Hebrews 10:25 - Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
To assemble ourselves with other believers while receiving relief, truth, and encouragement for discipleship. It is our desire to learn how to “walk in the Spirit” that through the Spirit we shall possess and put forth “good fruit.”
OUTREACH
Matthew 28:19 – Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
To share the gospel of Christ under the power of the Holy Spirit to the lost, feed the hungry, clothed the unclothed, and be the light and salt of the earth God has called us to be. Macon is dedicated to meeting the spiritual, social and physical needs of those in the community.
UPREACH
Psalms 34:1 – I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
To worship the Lord in spirit and in truth and bless him at all times with his praise continually in our mouths. Understanding that no matter what situation we might find ourselves in individually or collectively, God Is Still Good and Praiseworthy.
CHURCH MISSION
We are a company of regenerated persons, baptized by immersion on a profession of faith in Christ, with church ministries that are unique; respectful, friendly and spiritually inspired. We hold to the great commission stated in the gospel of St. Matthew 28:19 – 20 to: Go to therefore…” into Fayette county, Shelby county and throughout the world with prayer, worship and outreach ministries and god’s preached word. We seek the lost to share the “good ews” that through the preaching of the cross souls might be saved and received for God’s service.
